The Journal of Sustainable Tourism has published a new extended Special Issue on Implementing Sustainable Mobility: Bridging the Science - Policy gap with an article from our colleagues Jillian Student and Machiel Lamers from the Environmental Policy Group along with Bas Amelung from the Environmental Systems Analysis Group. They use the innovative technique of agent-based modelling to explore future challenges facing Antarctic tourism.

This article along with nine others from researchers in Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands, and the UK examine the increasingly recognised issue of how and why there are limited links between research findings and new policy and practice in sustainable mobility and sustainable tourism.

This special issue will be open access until the end of March at the following link.
