Urban Greenhouse Student Challenge - Matchmaking on 20 September 2017
Would you like to join the Ultimate Urban Greenhouse Challenge but do not have a team yet? Join the matchmaking event on 20th September from 18.00 until 20.00 in Impulse to find your dream team!
Recently Wageningen U&R has launched a Student Challenge to “Design the Ultimate Urban Greenhouse”, which is planned to run for several years. This challenge is open for students in relevant fields at universities or universities of applied sciences around the world.
Topics could be: renewable energy; citizen inclusion; contribution to the circular city (e.g. recovery of phosphate, water, nutrients); ICT use; business models and of course greenhouse design and plant production systems.
You should register between 1st and 31st of October 2017. You will work on your submission from February 2018 onwards and will present your design for an expert jury during the last week of August 2018.
