Wageningen ranks 66th in new THE sub-category

For the first time, Wageningen University & Research has been included in the physical sciences category of the World University Rankings table published by Times Higher Education (THE), coming in at 66th place.

The physical sciences category includes disciplines such as Chemistry and Geology, Environmental, Earth & Marine Sciences. This is the first time WUR has been included in the category, after having changed the way it submits data compared to previous years.

Times Higher Education publishes an annual table that ranks universities based on the quality of their education and scientific research.

This ranking assess universities on thirteen indicators, including the learning environment, research volume and reputation, research influence (citations), international research perspective, students and staff, and the degree of knowledge transfer to the industry or society.

Wageningen ranks 64th in the general THE World University Rankings.
