Young Investigator Award for Betina Piqueras-Fiszman

Betina Piqueras-Fiszman, Assistant Professor at the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Group, received the Young Investigator Award for ‘contribution by a researcher of the future’ at the 12th Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium in Rhode Island, USA.

The Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium is the leading conference on basic and applied Sensory and Consumer Science, and is held every two years. The award is installed to honour contributions of a young researcher to the field of sensory and consumer science, whether in terms of basic processes, methodologies or applications of knowledge or methods.

In addition to the award, Betina Piqueras-Fiszman delivered a plenary talk on sensory perception and motivation.
