An ecological perspective on Strategic HRM (SHRM) in primary education
Designing and implementing SHRM in primary education has become increasingly complicated due to all kinds of developments in society.
For example, schools face continuously increasing teacher shortages and increasing demands regarding education quality or equal changes. Recently, on behalf of the ‘Schoolleidersregister PO’ Piety Runhaar has been leading a professional learning community of school leaders, focusing on the topic of SHRM. Last month, the end product has been published (see the link) wherein SHRM is elaborated on from a theoretical (ecological) as well as practical perspective. The publication provides school leaders with advise how to shape their SHRM practices.
