BHE Tinbergen Thesis prize 2024

Every year the BHE Tinbergen Thesis prize is awarded to the MSc students with the best theses. This year, there is one winner and two runner-ups.

This year Carien Noordman won with her outstanding MSc thesis on Lionfish hunting behaviour in Crete.

The two runner-ups that stand out with their theses as well are:

Lily Broos with her thesis on the Hihi birds in New Zealand and Victor Renaud on the Lionfish in Crete.

MSc theses with a 8 or higher are eligible. The evaluation is based among other things on quality of abract, conceptualization, experimental design, figures and embedding in scientific literature.
