Inaugural speech of Prof. Dr. Fijs van Leeuwen
Prof. Dr. Fijs van Leeuwen gave his inaugural speech on Friday 13 November 2020, entitled 'The sense and nonsense of translational science'.
By giving his inaugural speech, Fijs accepted the position of Professor of Molecular Imaging and Imaging Guided Therapy at the Leiden University Medical Center.
With his research group he will continue his work on the development and clinical translation of multimodal imaging agents and image guided surgical techniques.
