Kalsec opens Innovation Centre of Excellence on Wageningen Campus
On 2 November, Kalsec, a US supplier of natural food ingredients, opened its Savoury Product Innovation Centre of Excellence (SPICE Lab) at Wageningen Campus. " We chose Wageningen because of its excellent reputation in the field of nutrition and its strong network with research institutes and companies," says Julie Heine, Kalsec's President and Chief Commercial Officer. Kalsec is assembling an international team of food scientists to facilitate research and new product development in Wageningen, with a focus on sauces, dressings, condiments and other savoury applications.
