New colleague Ashley Norval joined ELS per February 2024
Greetings everyone! I am Ashley, and in February 2024 I have begun my PhD as an external student at WASS (ELS).
I am originally from Australia, but currently am based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I work for DanBred, an animal genetics company. The PhD is an Industrial position at DanBred, though I plan to visit WUR whenever possible 🙂. I am interested in how on farm management strategies can be more effectively communicated with the stock people responsible for looking after the animals- so that both animal welfare can be improved whilst stock people are better able to conduct their daily tasks in a safe and effective manner.
