New Delegation Visit from Renmin Hospital, Wuhan University, China

In September 2025, a delegation from Renmin Hospital, Wuhan University — including Prof. Dr. Guoliang Peng (Vice President), Prof. Dr. Lilei Yu (Vice President), and Prof. Dr. Jinjun Liang (Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office) — visited the Human and Animal Physiology Group, where they were welcomed by Dr. Deli Zhang.

During the visit, the delegation exchanged the latest research ideas on cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on prevention via nutrition (a key WUR research domain), toured the laboratory, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.

Following the visit, a talent recruitment session for PhD students under the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) program was held and well received by the students.
