New in the collection: The Economist

Follow the latest news from the world of international politics and economy. WUR staff and students now have access to The Economist. This leading weekly newspaper covers international affairs, the global economy, business, politics, technology, and culture.

The Economist

The Economist is a weekly international quality newspaper. It reports on international news and developments in politics, economy, business, finance, technology and culture. WUR employees and students have access to the weekly editions from 1997 until present. This is a pilot subscription until December 2024.

How to login

The Economist is available to current WUR students and staff. WUR uses Single Sign On for The Economist.

  • Go to https://www.economist.com/.
  • Click the Log in link in the upper right corner.
  • Enter your @wur.nl email address in the Email address box.
  • After a moment, the site should recognize your WUR email address and redirect you to the "Find your institution page".
  • Type Wageningen and select Wageningen University & Research.
  • Login with your WUR credentials.
  • After the login, you'll get a "Complete your account notice". You can skip this via 'Skip for now'.
