New WIMEK Secretary Koen Wetser Appointed

Since the 1st of May, I started working as the new executive secretary of WIMEK. I worked for more than 10 years at Wageningen University & Research until the end of 2022. First, as a PhD student and postdoc at Environmental Technology on energy and water related topics. Later, I continued working part time at the university as teacher and PhD supervisor. At the same time, I also started working at Wageningen Research as a project manager in the team Water & Food. I always really enjoyed working at Wageningen University & Research, but I don’t want to specialize myself in a specific field. I prefer to work with many different people on many different topics. And that I expect to find in my new job as WIMEK secretary. I hope to meet many of you soon.
