The SupHub: easy access to research support services
Looking for research support services? In the newly launched Research Support Portal you can find all research support services that are available at WUR. Regardless of who offers the service and where the information is located. WUR Library developed the SupHub as part of the Easy service in research programme.
One-stop-shop for research support
The Research Support Hub provides a single point of entry to quickly identify the service you need, regardless of who offers the service and where the information is located. From writing a proposal, funding, labwork and data gathering to analysing, publishing, and creating impact for your research output. You can find information on a wide range of support services for all the different phases of your research project.
In a nutshell
You can find information in the SupHub in several ways. You can search by keyword, or you can browse through the different service categories, for example, Models and model development, Funding, Publishing and impact, Ethics, Safety and integrity, and Research facilities. Each service comes with a concise description, a link to the service itself, a contact person and contact information. You can also see whether the service is free of charge and whether there is a legal framework for the support service.
Easy service in research
In 2021, the Dean of Research commissioned the programme Easy service in research, of which the SupHub is one of the outcomes. WUR Library manages the SupHub in close collaboration with Facility Services – IT, and Corporate Communication. In the design stage, researchers provided feedback on the portal’s functionalities, content, and design. The project team has identified and described approximately 150 research support services. These are now available in the first basic version of the SupHub.

The input of researchers is essential to further develop and improve the SupHub. If you have suggestions for content or features that would make your research experience at WUR easier, contact the SupHub team with your ideas.
