AR (Ana) Gonzalez Martinez
DLO OnderzoekerAna started her career teaching Introductory Economics at undergraduate level (University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain). She was a visiting scholar at the Department of Land Economy (University of Cambridge) over the period September 2011-June 2013. In 2013, Ana joined the International Modelling team at Cambridge Econometrics (UK) where she gained experience in operating macro-econometric models (E3ME). In September 2016, she took a consultant position at Ecorys (The Netherlands), carrying out econometric modelling for assisting policy makers in different fields, e.g. labour market, housing, social domain, telecom, social accountability, energy, etc. Since August 2018, Ana works at Wageningen Economic Research, conducting applied research on the agri-food sector in the EU, as well as operating the AGMEMOD model. Within the AGMEMOD team, she has a particular focus on the outlook for the fruit and vegetable market.
After the completion of her PhD on housing economics, she has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
