OnderzoekerFollow me:
I am a researcher and trainer of interpersonal skills and embodied learning.
In 2023, I completed a PhD on the link between social engagement and interpersonal coordination dynamics (Lübbert et al, 2024).
My postdoc here at ELS/WUR is focused on inner and interpersonal development in the context of interdisciplinary collaborations for sustainable urban development (TBL project) - I am therefore also affiliated with the AMS institute in Amsterdam.
My ambition for this postdoc is to understand the (inter)personal challenges that come up during multi-stakeholder endeavours, and to provide training and interventions that foster the development of the respective (inter)personal skills. Integrating my research and training backgrounds, my main goal is to strengthen relationships and enable individuals, teams and organisations to access inner development in order to do more meaningful work. Core questions that motivate me are: what do we need to recognise, express and listen to what matters? How does a collaboration between diverse professionals look like that works ‘at eye level’ and is relevant to all parties involved? Can a research attitude (curiosity, doubting the certainty of one's assumptions) lead to better training outcomes? Can a training attitude (enhancing our ability to face challenges, creating an authentic learning environment) lead to more insightful research?
I frequently work with hfp-consulting (training scientists' communication and leadership skills).
I am an outdoors person and cyclist, love sports (squash, climbing, volleyball) and dance ci. I am also a builder (gardenhouse, furniture, compost toilet, solar..), and take colorful notes.
