Bardia Mashhoodi is the Assistant Professor of Digital Landscapes and the research coordinator at Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning Group, Department of Environmental Sciences, Wageningen University and Research (WUR), the Netherlands. His expertise is in the application of geographic analysis and spatial statistics for regional and urban studies. In particular, he is specialized in household energy consumption and energy poverty, spatial optimization of electric vehicles infrastructure, urban heat islands, and mobility network analysis. Since 2010, he has worked as a researcher in a variety of European, Dutch and municipally funded projects. Since 2016 he gave lectures to PhD researchers, master-, and bachelor students of at WUR, Delft University of Technology (Tu Delft) and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
