C (Camilla) Ramezzano
ResearcherI am Junior Researcher and Trainer within the group ‘Education and Learning Sciences’ at Wageningen University & Research, I am passionate about promoting environmental justice and sustainability. I focus on empowerment for sustainability, environmental education, and aligning Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with education.
I am actively involved in several environmental education initiatives. More Than Human focuses on challenging human-centered worldviews and engaging with relational worldviews in higher education to address climate change. The Horizon project LOESS (Literacy Boost through an Operational Educational Ecosystem of Societal actors on Soil Health) aims to raise awareness about soil health across Europe. Under the EU Mission "A Soil Deal for Europe," the project connects academic and societal actors, fostering transdisciplinary collaboration to enhance soil health awareness through educational initiatives and living labs in fifteen countries. Additionally, the Boundary Crossing Project fosters educational practices that bridge cultural divides and connect academia with broader society.
I coordinate the course Boundary Crossing and Personal Leadership in Marine Sciences and teach the following courses:
- Empowerment for Sustainability
- Educational Design and Teaching for Sustainability
- Environmental Education and Learning for Sustainability
With an MSc in International Development Studies and a minor in Irrigation and Water Management, my interests lie in exploring soil governance and water management, alongside transformative learning ecology, aiming to support positive changes in natural resource management, particularly within smallholder farming communities, through collaborative efforts among stakeholders.
