Scientist

I am a scientist passionate about exploring how plant biochemical diversity is shaped by ecological interactions. My research leverages mass spectrometry-based metabolomics — both non-targeted and targeted approaches — to uncover the complex chemical dynamics underlying these processes.

I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Ecology with a specialization in metabolomics from the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology. Throughout my career, I have built a strong track record in higher education and research, combining analytical chemistry, natural product discovery, and ecological understanding to address fundamental and applied scientific questions.

My expertise includes chemical ecology, analytical chemistry, metabolomics, and natural products research. In addition to my scientific pursuits, I have extensive experience in laboratory management and public speaking, fostering collaborative and interdisciplinary environments for research and education.

Driven by curiosity and committed to scientific excellence, I continue to investigate the chemical languages of plants and their ecological significance, aiming to contribute knowledge that supports biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, and novel biotechnological applications.
