CP (Chad) Osorio

Chad Patrick Osorio is an international academic and lawyer-economist, advocating for human and environmental rights.

Chad is PhD Researcher at Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands, for Environmental Economics and Law. As a full scholar of the French government, Chad received his Master II Business, Law & Economics at the top of his class, mention très bien , at L'Université d'Aix-Marseille, France. He also holds a Juris Doctor and a BA Psychology degree, cum laude , from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Chad was Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, teaching Introduction to Economics, Intermediate Environmental Economics, Microeconomic Theory, and Economic Analysis of Law. He is currently Adjunct Assistant Professor with the School of Environmental Science and Management (SESAM) at UPLB.

Chad is an Expert Contributor for the World Bank Group’s 2025 Business Ready (B-READY) Report for international trade policy and infrastructures. He was also on the Roster of Consultants for Legal Services for Development, United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization. At present, Chad is on the Board of the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Wageningen University and Research. 

Chad is active in environmental and community initiatives, and devotes his spare time volunteering in underserved, underprivileged communities by sharing his knowledge, skills and experience to promote empowerment and inclusive development.
