Floor Soudijn is a specialist in marine population and food web ecology. One of her main research interest is the effect of antrophogenic disturbances on natural systems. She has experience in fundamental academic research but has also worked on applied scientific questions.

Floor did a PhD in Theoretical Ecology. Her thesis considers the effect of seasonal processes on size-structured populations and food webs. She works, amongst other things, on sound disturbance effects on cod populations and the effects of offshore windfarms on North Sea seabird populations.
