Associate Professor

I am a hydrologist interested in regional- to continental-scale groundwater systems, groundwater sustainability, (ground)water-food nexus, groundwater lateral flows, groundwater-surface water interactions, and hyper-resolution hydrological modelling. I pursue my research interests by numerical modelling at the continental- to global-scale and learn from trends and anomalies from the past to predict the future.

Visit my personal website ingedegraaf.com for up-to-date infromation on current projects, publications, news etc of the Groundwater Sustainability and Food Security group.

I recently got awarded an ERC Starting Grant of 1.5 Mil "Groundwater Sustainability and Crop Production (GROW)". Read about it in the Wagenigen  ERC StG for Inge de Graaf
