J (Jinghan) Li
PromovendusJinghan Li is a PhD candidate at the Knowledge Technology and Innovation Group, focusing on innovation intermediaries and their role in promoting sustainable agriculture practices in rural China. Her research focuses on Science and Technology Backyards (STBs) as a case study, investigating how these intermediary organizations facilitate the farming practices changes in smallholders farming system. Jinghan started her PhD in 2019, and she spent her first 1.5 years conducting field observations in three STBs in different regions of China. Her research interests include missions-oriented innovation systems at the regional level, innovation intermediaries, multi-stakeholder interaction networks, and driving smallholders' practice change on a larger scale. Jinghan's research background is in agricultural economics, and she is a qualitative research novice, eager to deepen her expertise in this field.
