Laura Jansen is PhD candidate at Information Technology group & Marketing and Consumer Behavior group at Wageningen University and Research (WUR). After obtaining a bachelor in Business and Consumer studies at WUR, she gratuated with two Master degrees (MSc International Management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and MSc Management, Economics and Consumer studies at WUR). 

Current Research
Laura's research focuses on the effect of digital interventions in the online supermarket on the sustainability and healthiness of food choices. With her research, she hopes to contribute to healthy and sustainable development with digitalization. She investigates the use of decision support systems to encourage healthy and sustainable food choices in the online grocery shopping environment from a socio-technical perspective. This includes research based on machine learning algorithms for personalized digital interventions. The aim is to provide sustainable food suggestions while aslo integrating consumer preferences to make suggestions more personalized.
