Maria Jacobo is a nutritional epidemiologist and current PhD candidate at Wageningen University & Research.
Her reserch focuses on the role of beverage consumption (coffee, tea, milk, sugar swetened beverages, alcohol, among others) in cardiometabolic risk in adult/elderly populations. She works with large cohort studies such as the Alpha Omega Cohort and the Rotterdam Study.
Maria studied Human Nutrition at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and she did a Master in Health Sciences in the same University.
