Senior researcher information management and digitization in the agricultural and food sector. Applied research (including case studies), acquisition and project management in digitization areas such Fair data economy (Data4Food2030), Blockchain in the organic food sector (PL4.0 work package 6 with Skal), Blockchain and nanotechnology (TrustEat), User Acceptance, Digital Twin, 5G in Agri-Food, Business Support and Digital Innovation Hubs (AgROBOfood & IOF2020).

The impact of ICT on people and processes as well as responsible applications of digitization are my drivers. Blockchain technology as a way to improve food traceability for organic food is an example of this. As an ICT lecturer at The Hague and Utrecht Universities of Applied Sciences, I developed myself as an all-round IT expert with a focus on business processes and the impact of technology on the user (farmer, operator, manager, employee, student, teacher or citizen). Improving and managing business processes (Order2Cash, Customer Relationship Management) were key to my knowledge and skill development when I worked in the software industry (Streamserve, OpenText). I like to work in international environments, as part of a team while managing project activities. I speak Dutch, English and French and as a people person I easily connect people and projects.
