Development of criteria for significant effects of recreation on biodiversity

The goal of this project is to make the processes of management and licensing easier for entrepreneurs working in the water- and land-recreation.

In order to realize this, the following knowledge is necessary: What are the possible effects of recreation on Natua 2000-targets and habitat types? What are the action-perspectives for the combination of recreation and nature? What are the opportunities and requirements for monitoring in case of mitigating measures in the licensing or adaptive management? In answering these three questions the customized knowledge per area is central. Results of this project will be expected in the spring of 2012.
