Interactive tools: mobile applications, quick scan tools and map tables

Projects about land use issues are often complex tasks as there are different stakeholders involved. The information they contribute and that plays a role in the decision-making is recorded in a central repository and made accessible visible and understandable to everyone.

The aim of this project is to investigate whether and how projects with different stakeholders, and with an expected laborious decision-making, can be better facilitated by a coupling of participatory GIS, interactive visualizations to support participatory modeling and mobile applications for e-participation. As a case study is chosen the management of the geese problem around Schiphol.
