Project
To develop measures and techniques to improve soil health
The agriculture and horticulture develop to more complex business systems.
The importance of a healthy soil and sustainable production increases sharply. Positive and negative soil organisms such as nematodes and fungi, play a crucial role.
The aim of this project is to develop measures and techniques to improve soil health and sustainable (cost) effectiveness within different enterprise to measure.Activities are:
- Field trials with two crop rotations with CashCrops (corn, potato and lily), with various measures to improve soil health.
- Measuring soil health with field observations, bioassays and molecular techniques.
