Regenerative Farming

The Dutch agricultural sector faces a number of challenges in order to meet broadly committed long-term objectives (as also stated in the UN Sustainable Development Goals): a situation with zero net anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions and circular and regenerative use of nutrients and soil. The aim of this project is to develop a substantiated vision for 2050 supported by the sector for both the arable and dairy farming sectors. By means of a 'proof of principle', it is demonstrated that broad application of circular and regenerative agriculture is possible and essential to achieve the 2050 situation.
