Student Cooking Corner (SCC)

The SCC aims to bring the community at WUR together through food. Since the first edition in 2012, many international dishes from all corners of the world passed by.

All dishes are at least vegetarian (and sometimes even vegan) to contribute to sustainability and provide more veggie variety to students. The Student cooking corner is also a great way for students to gain some money for their delicious food and showcase their traditional dishes. Furthermore, sustainability-minded student-led organizations can use this space to promote their mission or fundraise money for a good cause.

Activities

Every Wednesday during lunch hours (12:00-14:00), students have the chance to sell a vegetarian homemade dish of their choice on the first floor of Forum (in front of the escalators). On the day itself, we facilitate the space for you to sell the food. You set the price per portion, and you get to keep all the money from the sales! Please keep it to one dish and 30-40 servings per session, and make sure that the dish is vegetarian.
