After studying at Animal Breeding and Genomics (ABG), there is a wide range of career opportunities. You can continue to work in the domain of animal sciences, but also in related fields such as plant breeding, human genetics or data science.

What's next?

After studying at ABG you can for example:

  • Do a PhD and/or become a researcher at WUR or a different university
  • Work at a breeding company
  • Work as policy advisor at a governmental institute
  • Become an independent consultant
