Ten researchers have been awarded a KNAW Early Career Partnership to organise an interdisciplinary meeting. This will allow them to explore innovative ideas or methods for research. The researchers will receive €10,000 each. GEO's Emmanuel Adu-Ampong is one of the researchers who received this KNAW Early Career Partnership.

The €10,000 granted will be used for the Tourism, Memory & Heritage conference: making sense of slavery heritage in the Ghana-Suriname-Netherlands Triangle. This conference is organised in the ongoing context of a VENI research project and will take place on 1-2 June in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. More info about the conference can be found here.
