New book on Tourism, Climate Change and Biodiversity in Sub-Saharan Africa

Emeritus professor Rene van der Duim wrote a new book with two Kenyan colleagues, R. Okech and D. Kieti, on tourism, climate change and biodiversity in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This book honors Prof. Bob Wishitemi with whom GEO worked together for over 20 years. Commemorating his death in 2021, this book includes articles by his former colleagues and other scientists who worked with him over the years. The volume contains 12 articles and presents a variety of approaches to address the major challenges facing sustainable tourism in sub-Saharan Africa: climate change and biodiversity loss.
