Case Study U.K.

In the past years several models have been developed simulating (2 and 3D) long-term erosion and sedimentation effects of fluvial and coastal systems due to changes in climate, tectonics and sea level.

These models have been used to reconstruct past landscape dynamics as registered in fluvial and marine terraces. This project aims at a refinement of the FLUVER2 model (river gradient model) which is a numerical model, simulating the longitudinal profile development of a fluvial system.
