- 10 October 2024 - Soil Cluster seminar from Dr. Kathe Todd-Brown's talk about "Building Coastal Marsh Models" - 4 p.m, Room B4030, Orion.
- 14th-20th September 2024 - PhD course 'Grounding carbon farming'. The first edition will be held on a dairy farm in France. This is an all-included, immersive course where fundamental issues around carbon sequestration in agricultural lands are treated from different perspectives, including that of farmers. Highly relevant to anyone working from close or far with soil carbon and land-based climate change mitigation, from biological, environmental, social, or economic perspectives! - 16th May 2024 (4 - 6 pm) - Wageningen worm charming championship at Unifarm
- 7th-13th May 2024 - PhD course on Resource Use Efficiency in agriculture. We will focus on nitrogen and water across scales. Speakers include Katrin Descheemaeker, Florian Wichern, Gerlinde De Deyn, Francisco Pinto, Franca Bongers. In addition, a lot of room for exchange of ideas and creativity. Do not hesitate to join! - 3rd, 10th, 17th May 2022 webinars on soil carbon management jointly organised by the International Fertiliser Society and Fertilizer Australia. The webinars include both presentations and panel discussions with speakers from both Europe and Australia. In the first webinar on the 3rd May Gabriel Moinet (SBL) will be the panellist of the session 'Principles, objectives and constraints of managing soil carbon in Europe and the UK'. - 14th May 2022- The Dutch Soil Science Association (NBV) and the Dutch Geological Society (NGV) organize a theme day on Soil and Geology in Gaia with the contribution of Jakob Wallinga and Rob Comans. Here you can find the program of the day and more information.
