Clavicaudatus clavicaudatus (Altherr, 1953) Heyns, 1968 belongs to the Nygolaimidae Thorne, 1935. These nematodes are predators, i.e. they have one mural tooth in their head region. This species is a soil dwellers. Clavicaudatus clavicaudatus can be found in Europe, Asia and North America.
