No rest for resting spores: Can predators mitigate clubroot disease?
We review how soil microbiome predators impact soil borne diseases and if they can they be part of disease control. We use clubroot caused by the evil, long-term surviving microbial protist Plasmodiophora brassicae as an example. Ideally, we hope to get protists and nematodes in the spotlight of research and potentially application!
