Infrastructure Agromilieu

In order to carry out the statutory research tasks for Agromilieu within the WOT Nature & Environment, a number of models and databases are necessary. It is important that the models and databases are of sufficient quality to be able to explain and reproduce results. The WOT Nature & Environment has a system for the quality of models and data files. In 2013, a plan was drawn up how to organize the maintenance of models and to keep the models on a high level of quality.

In this project an annual budget of approximately 41,000 euros has been reserved for the maintenance of models to keep these models on a high level of quality. To obtain quality status A for these models the documentation must be in order, audits must be prepared but also additional "research" (e.g. identifying uncertainties) is carried out within this project. This only concerns models and data files that have been developed by WUR and that are managed by WUR. Data files 'from outside' the organization that are needed to run the models are not included in this project.
