Kennisintegratie PEN
On behalve of the legaly required reports on the condition of nature and the progress of nature portection policy, it is neccessary to unlock and expand scientific knowledge. This knowledge is increasingly focussed on intgerated, strategic issues in policy.
The main task of the Statutary Research Tasks on Nature and the Environment is to unlock, develop and apply scientic knowledge on behalve of the tasks that WUR carries out for the Dutch government. This knowledge focusses on the physical environment and the interaction of the physical environment and society. In this project research questions are being formulated and translated in reserach proposals, followed by supervising the research projects.
The project is being carried out by the members of the workinggroup on knowledge development, in close cooperation with PBL. All relevant expertise is represented in the workinggroup.
