Rapid on-site authenticity screening of oils, fats and derived products for food and feed
This project deals with the development and application of portable vibrational spectroscopics for fast and on-site authentication of (bulk) oil and fat raw materials and products in cooperation with multiple industrial partners.
In this precompetitive research a number of specific applications will be designed to universally recognise real oil/fat from not-real/adulterated oil and fat products (One-class modelling). The ultimate goal at the end of the project is to disseminate these applications in the QA routine of the private partners involved.
