WUR hosts international conference on sustainable consumption and production in 2023

In July 2023, Wageningen will become the gathering point of sustainable consumption and production researchers and practitioners from all across the world. WUR’s (Wageningen University & Research) Social Science Group (SSG) is hosting a major international conference on the theme of transforming consumption-production systems toward just and sustainable futures.

Date: 5-8 July 2023
Venue: Wageningen, The Netherlands

The conference is organized in collaboration with SCORAI and ERSCP, two international organizations working in the field of sustainable consumption and production. The inter- and transdisciplinary conference will provide a crucial opportunity to discuss recent advancements in sustainable consumption and production. It will provide a platform for building and enhancing connections between research, practice, and policy to increase understanding and action of how to move transformations to sustainable consumption and production forward.The active contributions of several SSG chair groups will render the conference an opportunity and platform to share some of the innovative research produced in the social sciences at WUR.

Submission system

On August 30, the conference’s submission system opened. It will stay open until November 28, 2022. More information on how to submit abstract and session proposals is available on the conference website.
