Fertilizer Calculator

Fertilizer Calculator implements a user-friendly interface and a database for the nutrient content and price of several fertilizers and acids commonly used in greenhouse industry. The database can be edited and extended by the user.

The spreadsheet can calculate the NUE and the total amount of nutrient used in a growing cycle (expressed as kg/ha) using two different groups of input. Each option requires some parameters such as crop name, date of start and end of cultivation, total cultivated area (m2) and total yield. The two different options are:

OPTION 1. In this option, the spreadsheet requires the knowledge seasonal irrigation volume and ion concentration of irrigation water and nutrient solution.

OPTION 2. In this case the spreadsheet requires only the total amount of fertilizers and acids applied during the growing cycle (for preparing the stock nutrient solution or distributed on the soil).

In both options, the software calculates the total amount of nutrients (N, P2O, K2O) that were been used by the crop.
