Research assessments Wageningen Research
External peer review assessments of WUR research units follow a regular cycle. Follow-up on findings and recommendations from the peer review committee is discussed in the yearly quality cycle of the research unit.
TO2 assessment
Wageningen Research is one of five applied research organisation united in the TO2 federation (together with Deltares, MARIN, NLR, TNO). The TO2 organisations are assessed on research quality, impact and vitality in a four-yearly evaluation commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. The most recent TO2 assessment took place at the end of 2020 and the evaluation reports were presented to Dutch House of Reprentatives. The reports are written in Dutch, with a summary in English.
Wageningen Research institute evaluations
The nine Wageningen Research institutes are also assessed individually by an independent assessment committee, each following their own five-year evaluation cycle. These assessment follow the same criteria as the TO2 assessments.
