BRO Soil Properties Analyses (SPA)
Soil Information like the Soil Map of the Netherlands is hard to interpret for end users. Therefore thematic maps are needed that relate to relevant topics for stakeholders. In this project we cooperate with Wageningen University for designing methods to produce such thematic maps in 3D a well structured digital and reproducable way.
This project on mapping soil properties aims at 3D and 4D (3D+Time) thematic maps of relevant soil information for policy makers and other stakeholders. In 2021 a 3D map of pH was constructed using new digital techniques. In 2022 the emphasis wil be on mapping of organic matter (OM) and changes in OM thus including the time component (4D)
