Handelingsperspectief rondom extensivering en natuurinclusieve landbouw
Farm extensification is an important pathway for enhancing biodiversity in circular farming. The Ministry of LNV wants to have a better overview of opportunities for action.
In 2021, an overview of recommendations for policy aimed at extensification of agriculture was made based on a literature review.
In addition, model calculations were made to illustrate eight business models for extensive farms. These model calculations are complemented in 2022 with payments for ecosystem services and pricing of emissions. After that, the next phase of research will be decided on in consultation with LNV, to support policy development.
