Climate Resilience
The climate is changing, we can no longer ignore it. The Climate Resilience team carries out applied research into the consequences of climate change for society and ecosystems. We work closely with stakeholders on smart solutions based on natural processes. We see the climate challenge in connection with issues of food security, biodiversity, mobility and energy. Our smart solutions therefore not only contribute to climate-proof cities, landscapes and food systems, but also to biodiversity and quality of life.
We use recent climate models, data and artificial intelligence to visualise both the effects of climate change and the potential for smart adaptation and mitigation solutions. We work in cities, peri-urban areas and rural areas, both in the Netherlands and internationally, for policymakers, local authorities, the agri and food sector, and rural and urban planners.
