Plastic waste pile in the Pacific and North Sea

Plastic bottles, bags, toys and industrial waste. It all ends up in the sea and our oceans, and through currents eventually to the Pacific Ocean. Ten years ago, a waste pile was discovered in the midst of the great eddy with a size comparable to that of France and Spain combined.
