Where is all our plastic?
Where all that plastic goes to is a great mystery', says marine biologist Jan Andries van Franeker in Wageningen World. Researchers know more and more about how our plastic waste gets into the environment and its effects on nature. Yet we still don’t know where the bulk of it goes.
