Pitch Your Robot
Horizon 2020 project agROBOfood, that aims to establish an ecosystem that promotes and supports the adoption of robotic technologies within the agri-food sector, is now organising the 3rd online event “Pitch your Robot”. Small and medium-sized enterprises, Startups and Scale-ups that have already developed a robotic solution will have the opportunity to present their technology and secure funding to advance their project during an online event scheduled for March 29th and 30th, 2023.
Besides getting the chance to Pitch Your Robot in front of a highly experienced judging panel and gain exposure, another reason to apply is the prizes! The previous two editions of “Pitch Your Robot” awarded not only financial prizes, but also admission to educational programmes (e.g. the Computer Vision Summer School at Wageningen University & Research (WUR)) and an Evaluation of Robotic Solution by WUR’s Senior tech panel. Prizes amount to a whopping total of 200K euros distributed to 5 winners in the following categories: 1st winner 75k, 2nd winner 50k, 3rd winner 40k, 4th winner 20k and 5th winner 15k.
Erik Pekkeriet, Program Manager Agro Food Robotics at WUR is one of the members of the judging panel: “Pitch Your Robot is the best robotics showcase platform in the European Union and this is the moment to show us what you’ve got. We’ll be looking for both innovativeness and investability. This year’s event also has the largest prize pot we have had, so the stakes are high!”
