A milestone: 700.000 open access publications in NARCIS!
More than 700.000 scientific publications are now openly accessible in the scholarly portal NARCIS! With over 90.000 open access publications, Wageningen University and Research is one of the largest contributors to NARCIS.
Milestone
The 700.000 open access publications cover 287.000 journal articles, 140.000 reports, more than 82.000 dissertations, 29.000 conference papers and 21.000 book chapters. NARCIS also gives an overview of more than 1.25 million scientific publications. These publications are not Open Access, but are accessible to the academic world through institutional libraries.
WUR contribution
Wageningen University and Research - Library is traditionally a large contributor to the NARCIS database. All WUR publications are registered in PURE, visible in Research@WUR and sent to NARCIS. With almost 90.000 open access publications WUR's contribution tops all Dutch universities and research institutes!
Show your publications in NARCIS
You can showcase your publications in NARCIS by registering them in WUR's research information system Pure. Once in Pure, your research output automatically appears in NARCIS. Check the Pure pages on intranet for more information or contact the Pure team at the Library.
About NARCIS
NARCIS is the main national portal to look for information about researchers and their work. The database contains publications, data sets, research projects and people from Dutch research organisations.
